Fauré, Folksongs and Freedom!

2008 Spring concert

The UGC Spring Concert will be held at the New Haven Lawn Club on Sunday May 4th at 4:00 P.M.

The program features Fauré's beautiful Cantique de Jean Racine, some gorgeous folksong settings, including the Gaelic Dulámán and Ron Jeffers' inspiring Working for the Dawn of Peace, Randall Thompson's The Testament of Freedom and several stirring patriotic themes.

Our special guest ensemble will be the outstanding Concert Choir from the Hopkins School under the direction of JoAnn Wich.

Glee Club Membership

Membership is open to all men who love to sing! We are a non-audition Club. You are welcome to attend any rehearsal, meet our members and sing with us on a trial basis

Vocal training, ability to read music or prior glee glub or choral music experience is not required for membership.

If you ever sang in high school or college, in a church group or in your local theatre group, you are cordially invited to join the University Glee Club!
